In the early 60's Viking Cue Mfg., Inc. founder Gordon Hart began making two-piece pool cues in the basement of his poolroom in Stoughton, Wisconsin. Gordon traveled to various tournaments to sell his cues. In a short period of time, Viking cues became popular with many of the top players. Viking was incorporated in 1965. By the late 1960s, Gordon spent more time making cues, so he sold the poolroom and moved the cue business to its present location in Madison, Wisconsin. He expanded production capabilities and began selling cues throughout the United States and abroad.
Wow! The story of Viking Cue started 40 years ago! Obviously a lot has happened in the billiard industry during this time. The technology used, access to materials, construction techniques, and their designs have changed and improved throughout the years. What has not changed Is Viking's ability to consistently build a high quality product at a fair price, and deliver that product in a timely manner with unequaled service.
Some of our favorite Viking cues are the Viking G76 Cue Stick and Viking G83 Cue Stick, the Viking G27 Cue Stick and Viking G31 Cue Stick. They are great designs with broad appeal. These have become some of Viking's best selling cues.
Did you know Viking Cue makes Limited Edition and prototype cues? They also will custom fit Performance Shafts for Viking Cues. We will do our best to offer these unique products which are great for pool players and cue collectors alike.
Viking is known for its generous support of various tournaments and organizations including Nationally televised pool and billiard events, the Viking Nine Ball Tour, Super Billiards Expo, VNEA, BCA League and National Wheelchair Poolplayer Association Inc.
Viking Cue is still a family owned and operated business. With all that Viking Cue does, it is easy for us to be a retailer and promoter of Viking Cue and all of their products.
Viking Cues are proudly and exclusively made in the U.S.A.
