This is my second phenolic break cue. I was able to find a 7 oz weight bolt that brings mine up to 23.3 ozs per my postal scale, and it hits like a hammer. Phenolic tip, leather grip, heavy, straight, straight forward traditional design with a little pizzaz, small price...It's a winner for me. If you are new to phenolic tips, they are unforgiving for off center hits. But keep practicing and you'll be consistently spreading the rack in no time.
I love my Iron Horse break cue! I've been breaking with it for almost 3 months and I get a wider spread of balls and I generally make at least one ball in the break! There is nothing I don't like about it! I just hope it can withstand the years of use it is going to get. Thank you.
