Great price, great quality, love it.

Was looking for a reasonable priced breaking stick, but having basic features. This is it! I prefer an open wrap, as it gives you more feel and grip for breaking. Also, the hard leather tip allows for you to put more top center english for follow through on your breaks. Even if you are slightly off, it goes into an english, and not a miss cue like with phenolic tips. You can also feel you are using a break stick, not a regular stick. Plus, the threads on the lower and mid section are short threads so you can break down and assemble fast while playing, usually 2-3 full twists. Mid joint is metal to metal, lower joint is wood to wood. Use the short feature of it to play in tight bars, not for jumping. So what do I know about pool? Captain of a league pool team of 7, been playing pool for 24 years, own about 7 cues, all Meucci and Palmer. And cheapest asides from the Caliber JB1, is easily 500.00. I did consider the McDermott Stinger, but couldn't justify the additional 130.00, but feel it is a better break cue. Hope some of this helps someone out.

Great Break Cue

I was looking for a break cue and came across this one for Father's Day sale. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a jump/break cue and had been using one of my regular cues for my breaks. This one is by far way better. With the hard leather tip (legal) it breaks the balls up nicely and spreads them across the table. Cannot go wrong with the price and it looks nice too.

Nice stick!

Never had a cue in three parts. Feels as solid as a one piece cue. Couldn't be happier. Weight is great and the strike is clean. Might have to get another one. Nice stick.

Functional break cue

The joint for the jump cue isn't well finished, but the cue works and for the price is a good deal.

Vector Caliber JB1 Jump Break Cue

It gives power to the cue ball when breaking. It also breaks down for jumping, but I haven't attempted that as of this writing. The shopping was quick. I'm well satisfied with the whole transaction and the product.

Another great product

Vector cues are not only a great product, but they are a great value. This break cue is so smooth, comfortable to use and well balanced...I sometimes keep it in my hand while I shoot other shots after the break.

Excellent value for performance

Recently bought this cue looking for an entry level break cue. So far the weight and feel of the cue is very balanced, the tip is hard and thick, and the quick release is very handy. The only issue is that it does not break down enough to fit within a long pocket, where the break/jump is normally housed. Great for the money though!
