Spencer Marston pool tables have been installed in over 30,000 homes around the United States. Built to tournament specifications, these pool tables meet the exacting standards set by the Billiard Congress of America. They are constructed of solid hardwood throughout, feature one-inch slate, and 100% pure gum rubber cushions.
Frame: 100% solid, high-quality hardwood with stabilizing support beams running the length of the frame to ensure a solid, level playing surface. Legs are attached by threaded aluminum inserts for durable, precision assembly.
Slate: 1-inch thick, 3-piece framed slate construction diamond-honed to within +/-.3mm and guaranteed not to warp.
Rail: Tournament-grade cushions made from 100% pure gum rubber and cured to a K-66 face profile. Nose height is consistently 62.5% - 64.5% of the height of a standard pool ball.
Sub-rail (or rail liner): Invisible once the table is assembled, these are made of solid hardwood with aluminum inserts at three locations in every rail, which allow for maximum torque on the connecting bolts, making the rails as tight as possible.
Rail caps: solid hardwood with three coats of high-density polyurethane for maximum protection and sheen.

Pool Table Size
Spencer Marston pool tables come in 7’, 8’ and 9’ lengths, and the single most important factor in selecting a pool table is determining the table size that best fits the room it will be in. But remember: you don’t just need enough space for the table, but also for players to be able to bend forward and take their shot without the pool cue hitting a wall.
Then consider who will be playing. With children and less experienced players, you’ll want a shorter table. Adults and more experienced players will want at least an 8-table, and competitive players need a 9’ table.

Pool Table Type
Next, consider the pool table area itself. If it’s outdoors, get an outdoor pool table. If it’s in a dedicated pool or game room, get a standard indoor pool table. If it’s in a dual-use room, then a dining conversion pool table is perfect.
Pool Table Style
Finally, consider your home decor. Spencer Marston tables come in modern, rustic, and classic styles, and in a variety of woods and stains. There are also plenty of cloth options.
For more detailed information, read our How to Buy a Pool Table article.
The first thing to consider when thinking about creating a pool room is the space. You need enough space to allow for players to shoot from all sides of the pool table. Generally speaking, most customers opt for the largest table size that will fit their space.

Yes, there are many options to make your pool table your own unique creation. Once you have settled on the basic pool table model and size, depending on the table, you may have options for wood type, wood stain, and pocket style. You will be able to choose from a large selection of cloth colors in three different cloth types, and you can even opt for custom embroidery.
If you ever feel overwhelmed by the choices, call our team at 800-682-9280 and they will be able to help you create the right table for you.
Yes. We maintain relationships with independent pool table installers. We can arrange for the pool table to be delivered to one of our approved installers in your area. After they’ve received the pool table and have inspected it to ensure nothing has been damaged in transit, they will contact you to arrange a delivery and installation date and time. You just need to be present for the installation and our experienced installer will handle the rest. (Link: https://www.pooltables.com/shipping-policies)

Shipping is Included in the pool table price for most continental U.S. locations. Since a pool table is a large piece of furniture weighing in excess of 1,000 pounds, all pool table sales are final. However, we do everything possible to make sure you order the right table; we will not sell a pool table to any customer without first having a showroom representative speak with you and confirm all of the order details.
We may approve a return on a new table if it is new, unassembled and still in its original boxes and packaging, in the original condition. The customer would be responsible for the outgoing and return shipping fees, as well as any installer handling fees (if the customer chose the White Glove Installation option.)
Each table is backed by a limited lifetime warranty. Spencer Marston quality and construction makes this possible. This Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship.
This Warranty applies to only the original Owner of the pool table from the original purchase date and is non-transferable.
The “original Owner” for the purposes of this Warranty is the first purchaser of the pool table from Spencer Marston or a Spencer Marston authorized retailer.
If the original Owner sells or otherwise relinquishes ownership of the pool table to another party, the Warranty terminates and the subsequent owner accepts the product “as is.”
